After OnePlus, OPPO To Debut Hasselblad With the Find X5 Pro, Leaked Renders Suggest

Find X5 Pro

OPPO’s next flagship, the Find X5 Pro, will come with Hasselblad cameras, a new spec and render leak by WinFuture confirms. OPPO joins the Hasselblad bandwagon, which is expected — as both OPPO and OnePlus shared their collaboration in terms of hardware and software last year. The upcoming Find X5 Pro is said to be pricer than before. It will be featuring in a sole storage variant in addition to the new Hasselblad cameras integration, which we have seen earlier with the OnePlus 9 Series and the recent OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone — the flagship that debuted in China early this year. The sole storage variant will reportedly cost €1200 (Rs 1,03,000 approx.) and features — Ceramic Black and Ceramic White colour variants.

The report further reveals the design and spec details of the alleged OPPO Find X5 Pro smartphone. The renders show a familiar design to the predecessor model, and it appears OPPO has taken forward the design cues from last year. So, expect to see an identical camera module from last year’s model featuring a triple rear sensors setup powered by MariSilicon and with Hasselblad.

On the front, the alleged Find X5 Pro will come with a bigger 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display featuring rounded edges with 120Hz refresh rate support. It will come with 3216 x 1440 resolution coupled with 10-bit HDR support, and the display on top has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The device is also said to have an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Underneath, the flagship device will naturally feature a flagship processor, i.e., the Snapdragon Gen 1 SoC — the high-end SoC from Qualcomm promises a 3GHz clock speed. Further, the device is said to feature 12GB of RAM (LPDDR5X) coupled with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, unexpandable, though.

Find X5 Pro — Cameras

The OPPO Find X5 Pro is said to be coming with a couple of 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensors with OIS, out of which one would have an 80-degree field of view and f/1.7 aperture. The flagship will have a Sony IMX709 sensor, a 32MP camera with a 90-degree field of view, and an f/2.4 aperture for selfies. The other 50MP sensor will supposedly be an ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Further, the third sensor is likely a 13MP one, which is a telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The report further suggests these cameras would rely on OPPO in house developed MariSilcon AI chip for better photography. Additionally, the rear cameras also support 4K UHD recording at 60fps.

In terms of battery, the report suggests that the OPPO Find X5 Pro will have a decent 5000mAh battery capacity supporting the company’s native 80W fast charging, both wired and wireless.

The other highlights of the device, according to the report, include IP68 rating; stereo speakers; Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1; Dual SIM+eSIM; NFC; Bluetooth 5.2; 5G; and OTG.
