OPPO Find X2 series gets Color OS Android 11 Beta preview

ColorOS, the android based mobile OS from the house of OPPO has released the beta preview based on the latest Android operating system. The recently launched OPPO Find X2 series is the first to get this update of ColorOS based on the Android 11 Beta preview. 

Earlier this month, OPPO announced that they will be releasing the Android 11 update soon for its flagship series. On June 17, its Find X2 series mode it to India, and before the device goes on sale, users will be able to enjoy the latest beta preview update in case they want to. 

What’s new on the ColorOS Android 11 Beta Preview?   

The ColorOS team has released an update change-log for the features that’ll be available in the update. But before that, you should know that features like system-wide Dark mode and built-in screen recorder have been already available on ColorOS before Android 11 introduced them. 

Here are some features shared by the team which will be made available on the Find X2 series. Take a look at below. 

  1. A dedicated Conversations section in the notification shade where you can easily view, engage, and prioritise chats from various apps.
  1. A new floating Bubbles UI for messaging apps that enables users to create floating windows for individual chats to improve multitasking
  1. Improved privacy protection with additional one-time permission, permission auto-reset, and background location preferences for more control over sensitive permissions
