OPPO F7 confirmed to launch on March 26 in India first; specifications and features detailed

Oppo F7 to release on March 26

Oppo is all set to launch the Oppo F7 smartphone in India on March 26. The news is so important, for the phone is coming first to the Indian market. The Oppo F7 Full-Screen smartphone will come as the latest addition to Oppo’s Selfie Expert series. Features like AI selfie, Cover Shot and AR (Augmented Reality) stickers are also included in the package. The phone looks like a doppelganger of the iPhone X and we are not exaggerating.

Let’s look at the detailed specs of the phone:

Oppo F7: specs and features

The Oppo F7 will carry a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280p. The device will carry an 89 percent scree-to-body ratio and a 19:9 aspect ratio display. The device will also sport a notch on the top, for Oppo has become one of the first smartphone manufacturers to have obtained the patent for the Notch-shaped full screen.

The Oppo F7 will come with a rectangular iPhone X-like notch. The phone will also feature a massive 25MP selfie shooter with AI capabilities and Real-time HDR Technology. “Images taken with the OPPO F7 will have a greater range of luminance levels when shot in bright sunlight or the shade”, says the company.

The device has a 19:9 aspect ratio which unprecedented screen size to play games and read, yet fitting perfectly in the palm of the user. The user can use gestures to swiftly navigate between apps, with the Notch Assistant. The device has been stated to be priced competitively for all these smart features and hence, we can expect it to come at a reasonable cost.

The phone has been shown in a Red colour variant by the company and since we do not see a fingerprint sensor on the front, it might have been placed on the back. It is less likely for Oppo to release the F7 with an under-display fingerprint sensor as nothing about the advanced biometric safety measure has been mentioned. The image also lets us have a sneak peek at the 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, coupled with a USB port and a single speaker.

The power button of the phone resides on the right side while the volume rockers have been placed at the left side of the device. The USP of the phone is its 25MP selfie shooter, 19:9 aspect ratio display and AI-enabled beauty front camera. We will let you know about each leak or official announcement in the future as well.
