OPPO Enco X TWS with Active Noise Cancellation and 25-hour battery backup launched in India at Rs 9,990


OPPO Enco X are the new truly wireless earphones from the company launched alongside the latest OPPO Reno5 Pro smartphone in India. With this new Enco X headphones, OPPO for the first time is partnering with Dynaudio, a premium Danish speaker manufacturer. The new flagship TWS from the company promises high fidelity audio with DBEE 3.0 sound system coupled with LHDC wireless. The TWS earphones feature algorithm based ANC (active noise cancelling) with dual-core Bluetooth chip.

OPPO Enco X — Design

OPPO Enco X comes in three fairly simple colour options — Black, White and Green. They incorporate an optimised antenna design and come with built-in BPF (bandpass filter) that claim to filter out 4G, 5G and interference signals. Further, the TWS utilise LDS (laser direct structuring) antenna to have an enhanced Bluetooth connectivity experience. The TWS comes with a charging case that comes with a streamlined curvature design and claims to be ergonomic. The earbuds also feature soft silicone tips, which tend to provide sound isolation as well.


The controls on the earbuds include a double tap for skipping tracks/taking calls, slide controls to adjust volumes, press and hold controls to switch modes (which you can find in the specs section below), and three tap controls to activate digital assistants like Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri. And, lastly, there’s one-touch pairing to pair the buds via Bluetooth with a smartphone.

OPPO Enco X — Specs

The in-ear True Wireless Earphones, the OPPO Enco X come with 11mm dynamic drivers underneath and also feature a 6mm balanced membrane driver. They feature 104dB at 1KHz speaker sensitivity coupled with 20Hz-20kHz frequency response. The earbuds rely on Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity and comprise a 10m range.

The OPPO Enco X uses the OPPO DBEE 3.0 sound system. This includes coaxial dual drivers coupled with magnetic balanced membrane drivers. There’s also a triple-layer composite dynamic driver. All these tend to work together to handle high/low frequencies, and also claim to handle mid-high and mid-bass accordingly.

For noise cancellation, the OPPO Enco X buds utilize dual-core digital Bluetooth noise cancellation chips. Further, the earbuds feature a dual fed microphone design that provides hybrid active noise cancellation. There are multiple noise control modes — max noise cancellation, noise cancellation, transparency mode, and noise cancellation off. For calls, the OPPO Enco X utilises triple-mic noise reduction design.

OPPO Enco X — Battery

The earphones comprise a 44mAh battery and the charging case comes with a 535mAh battery. The OPPO Enco X promises 4 hour playback time with noise cancellation turned on and 20h including the charging case. Similarly, they promise a 5.5-hour battery backup with noise cancellation off and 25 hours with charging case. They charge through USB Type-C.

The other highlights of the OPPO Enco X include multi-device support, binaural low latency Bluetooth transmission, and LHDC audio codec support.

The true wireless earbuds — OPPO Enco X cost Rs 9,990 in the Indian market. They will be available for sale from January 22nd along with the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G smartphone.
