OPPO is introducing its faster SuperVOOC charging solutions to India, this time in the slimmest design aesthetic. The OPPO 50W Mini SuperVOOC charger aims to fast charge your compatible devices by maintaining the tiniest form factor that OPPO has made. As the name suggests, it’s the smallest fast charger and claims to be the world’s thinnest as well. To be precise, it weighs about 60grams; and measures only 10.5mm in thickness, which is pretty unusual for a 50W quick charger.
OPPO says that it has developed this charger through multi-radian curve processing to achieve this thinnest form factor. Meaning, an end-user can carry this fast charging solution in their pockets; matching any other business card holder aesthetic out there. This makes it pocket-friendly in terms of its size and makes it easy to carry around during travel or commute.

Furthermore, the OPPO 50W Mini SuperVOOC charger appears to be compatible with the company’s VOOC charging protocols; including mainstream ones like 27W PD (Power Delivery) and 50W PPS (Programmable Power Supply, for instance. This portable charger is also convenient to charge mobile phones and laptops.
OPPO further explains the architecture that makes this mini charger so compact. Firstly, the engineers behind have followed a topological design to reduce the components underneath and the removal of electrolytic capacitor in favour of new pulse charging. That happens to be an aviation-grade high power clamping diode and GaN high frequency switching power technology; that ultimately made possible the miniaturising of the high power chargers, according to OPPO.
