OnePlus 5G flagship smartphone in 2019

This is quite an interesting announcement for all the OnePlus fans looking forward to 2019. The Qualcomm president, Cristiano Amon has shared that the first Qualcomm 5G smartphone will arrive as early as in 1H 2019, i.e. the first half of 2019. This timeline aligns with OnePlus’s usual launch window. If not, the company would be at least one of the first to introduce a 5G network-enabled smartphone next year. And that is as much exciting!

Further, Pei also confirmed that its company has been conducting 5G tests at Qualcomm’s headquarters in San Diego, which dates back to August. This OnePlus 5G enabled smartphone could be very much relying on the Snapdragon X50 5G modem introduced by Qualcomm on stage at its annual event. Further, a downsized QTM052mm Wave antenna module alongside the modem could be making its way to new OnePlus flagship next year.

At this moment, there is not much known about this OnePlus, because it’s too early. Currently, the company is focusing the task at hand, which is, the OnePlus 6T. As it is always exciting to know India’s number one premium smartphone is sitting in the front row to grab the latest technology available. Thus, keeping its users happy with latest industry tech.
