The OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China on Tuesday, but the brand has not revealed much about its India launch. Apart from this, constant rumours have been appearing online about the OnePlus Nord 2 CE India launch after it received the BIS certification. Now a recent report has hinted some information about the India launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus Nord CE 2.
Now the latest report by 91Mobiles in partnership with tipster Mukul Sharma reveals that the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 monikers have been spotted on the OnePlus India website’s source code. The report further confirms that the upcoming Nord phone will be called Nord CE 2 in India and not Nord 2 CE as previously rumoured. Going by the moniker, it seems the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be a successor to the original Nord CE.

As per the earlier reports, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is tipped to feature a 6.4” AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, slim bezels and a Corning Gorilla Glass layer for protection. It is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. There could be a 12GB RAM option in the works as well. The Nord CE 2 will run on Android 12 OS with OxygenOS 12 custom skin out of the box.
As for the optics, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is speculated to feature triple-rear cameras, with a 64MP primary OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is likely to be a 16MP snapper at the front for selfies. The device will reportedly pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual SIM, microSD card slot, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

OnePlus 10 Pro (Chinese variant) comes with a 6.7” 2K Fluid AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with a 120z refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and a punch-hole camera. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage that isn’t further expandable. The phone runs on Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1 out of the box in China.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus 10 Pro sports a triple- rear camera that includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP secondary lens, and an 8MP third lens. It has a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, a 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, and reverse charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, VoLTE, GPS, VoWiFi, and a USB Type-C port. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The handset is equipped with dual OIS, an x-axis linear motor, Dolby Atmos, His-Res audio, and an alert slider.
