OnePlus 9RT has been officially launched in India as the brand’s latest addition to its OnePlus 9 series. The smartphone, which originally debuted in China back in October 2021, is said to be the successor to the OnePlus 9R launched last year. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC powered device sports a 50MP triple-rear camera setup.
OnePlus Buds Z2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds were also launched, as a successor to the 2020 OnePlus Buds Z earphones. They come with active noise cancellation (ANC) support.
OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus Buds Z2 Price in India, Availability
The 8GB + 128GB storage model of the OnePlus 9RT in India has been priced at Rs. 42,999 and the 12GB +256GB storage variant is available at Rs. 46,999. The smartphone will be available in Hacker Black and Nano Silver colour options. It can be purchased via Amazon India, the company’s official website and retail stores as it will go on sale during the company’s Great Indian Republic Day sale on January 17th.
Apart from this, OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at Rs. 4,999. The earbuds will be available in Black and White colour options via Amazon India, Flipkart, the OnePlus website and partner stores from January 18th.
OnePlus 9RT Key Specifications
The OnePlus 9RT sports a 6.62” FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The company claims that its display has a touch sampling rate of 1,300Hz and comes with 100 percent DCI:P3 colour gamut coverage. The display comes with HDR10+ certification as well.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of inbuilt UFS 3.1 storage. Apart from this, the new OnePlus 9RT comes with the company’s “Space Cooling” technology and a larger heat sink for better heat dissipation and improved performance, according to OnePlus. The handset runs on Android 11 with the company’s OxygenOS 11 skin on top.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus 9RT features a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS, a 16MP wide-angle lens with 123-degree field-of-view, along with a 2MP camera for macro photography. There is a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie camera at the front for video calls.
Lastly, the OnePlus 9RT packs a 4,500mAh battery which comes with support for 65W fast charging via the company’s Warp Charge 65T technology over USB Type-C. The smartphone offers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity, along with GPS/ A-GPS and NFC support.
OnePlus Buds Z2 Key Specifications
The newly launched OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds feature large 11mm, dynamic drivers. The OnePlus Buds Z2 features up to 40db ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). They also feature a 3-mic DNN noise reduction algorithm and a physical anti-wind noise design.
The Buds Z2 support Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and offer reduced latency of 94ms. The earbuds come with three inbuilt microphones for calling and ANC functionality.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds come with an IP55 sweat and water-resistant design, and the case comes with IPX4 water resistance. The OnePlus Buds Z2 measures 33x22x21.8mm and weighs in at 4.5g. The charging case, on the other hand, measures 73.15×36.80×29.07mm and weighs in at 40.5g.
Apart from this, the OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with a 40mAh battery in the individual buds, which is claimed to last for up to 7 hours without ANC and up to 5 hours with ANC. Alongside the buds, the case offers an additional 38 hours of music playback without ANC and 27 hours with ANC, and has a 520mAh battery. The Buds are claimed to provide 5 hours of usage with 10 minutes of charging.
