OnePlus 9RT With Snapdragon 888, and ColorOS 12 Launched In China at Rs 38,500 Approximately


The much-awaited OnePlus 9RT is now official in China, which comes as the latest addition to its existing OnePlus 9 series. The OnePlus 9RT shares a lot of its specs with the flagship models; but there are significant upgrades that still distinguish it from its sibling — the OnePlus 9R.

OnePlus 9RT Pricing And Availability

The OnePlus 9RT is available in three colors – Dark Matter (Black), Hacker Silver, and Enchanted Sky. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 9RT starts at CNY 3299 (roughly Rs 38,500), whereas the other two variants with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs CNY 3499 (roughly Rs 40,900) and CNY 3799 (roughly Rs 44,400) respectively. The smartphone will go on sale in China starting from October 19th. The Indian release of this model is still unclear at the moment.

The OnePlus 9RT offers a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display with Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support, Display P3 color gamut, up to 1300 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device weighs 198.5gms and is 8.29mm thick.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 888 processor. As mentioned above, the smartphone packs up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, Instead of OxygenOS, the device runs on OPPO’s ColorOS 12, which is Android 11 based.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 9RT features a triple-camera setup including a 50MP primary main camera (Sony IMX766 sensor) that has OIS and EIS support, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the smartphone sports a 16MP selfie camera for selfies and video chats. The device retains the alert slider on the left side. Other highlights of the phone feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The smartphone packs a 4500mAh battery that supports OnePlus’ Warp Flash Charge 65T technology. Connectivity options on the OnePlus 9RT include a dual-SIM card slot, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and NFC.

As suggested earlier, coming to the Indian launch of the OnePlus 9RT, nothing has been confirmed yet. But the leaks suggest that the device is likely to arrive soon in India.
