Right after the Oppo R17 Pro launched, there were lots of rumours that the OnePlus 6T would follow in line with identical features after a couple of months. Now, there is some solid proof that it could indeed be the case. The retail packaging material of the next OnePlus flagship has leaked today giving us some big pointers regarding the looks of the OnePlus 6T.

OnePlus 6T: What’s new coming?

Take a look at the image below. One of them shows the front design imprinted on the surface of the box cover. It shows a water-drop notch and an on-screen fingerprint reader inscribed on it. Now, this usually doesn’t happen on a retail packaging and we have no way to approve the authenticity of the image. Although, it does look like an official box.

That said, the OnePlus 6T is very likely to follow in the footsteps of the Oppo R17 as has been the case for some iterations in the last two years. That means, we’re likely to see these two features that have appeared on the box. Besides that, the OnePlus 6T might not bring many upgrades as it will simply be a repeated version of the OnePlus 6T in all other aspects.

As for the launch date predictions, rumours suggest the handset may be in for an accelerated release schedule and as such it could launch in October. Moreover, the new features could possibly accompany a small bump in price – cost around $550 (roughly Rs. 39,300).
