OnePlus 5 is getting Oreo Beta in November, 5T to receive it in December

Going against all the rumors, the OnePlus 5T launched with Android 7.0 Nougat instead of Oreo. Now, it has been confirmed that its predecessor which came out six months ago, is getting Android Oreo-based open beta in November only! The OnePlus 5 users will get to test the latest Android version on their Oxygen OS and it is nothing less than a great news for them.

Is the new OnePlus device any different from its predecessor? 

The OnePlus 5T will receive the beta for Android Oreo in the month of December, as confirmed by the company. The audiences were told about the beta testing in OnePlus 5 in the launch of the OnePlus 5T. The sister company of Oppo and Vivo confirmed that the newly launched flagship phone will receive the beta in December but the specific date wasn’t stated.

The OnePlus 5T comes with a 6.01″ screen and is 9g heavier than its predecessor. The camera performance in low light has been substantially improved, thanks to the wide-angle module of the second lens!
