OnePlus 10 Ultra Is Reportedly in the Works, Could Come With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC

OnePlus is reportedly working on multiple smartphones that include the OnePlus 10 Ultra, OnePlus 10, mid-range phones like the OnePlus Nord series, and a new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC powered smartphone as well, according to a reliable tipster Yogesh Brar. On Twitter, he has shared what to expect from these series of devices and spilled some beans on tentative timelines, the OnePlus 10 Ultra, in particular.

So the OnePlus Ultra flagship is getting into testing phase, focus on cameras & SD 8 Gen 1+

OnePlus 10 – D9000/SD 8 Gen 1 (depending on market)

OnePlus 10 Ultra — Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC

Yogesh suggests the alleged OnePlus 10 Ultra is entering the testing phase with a prominent focus on camera systems, and it will be powered by Qualcomm’s next flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC. OnePlus 10 Pro was made official in India early last month after launching in China in early January. During the launch and post the event, there hasn’t been any word on the vanilla/standard OnePlus 10, which usually releases next to the Pro variant, considering the history of OnePlus devices’ announcements.

While the company hasn’t shared anything specific regarding the same, the tipster has implied OnePlus 10 will also be coming later this year. The alleged device could feature either a Dimensity 9000 SoC or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC (also featured in the OnePlus 10 Pro variant) — depending on the market device releases in.

New OnePlus Nord Devices

Further, Yogesh hints at a couple of phones under the OnePlus Nord series. After the recent OnePlus Nord 2 CE Lite 5G last month, the tipster indicates a new Nord phone featuring a Dimensity 8000 and another Nord device powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. Lastly, there’s one more smartphone from the company featuring a yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

With as many as five more alleged OnePlus phones hinted to launch later this year, tipster implies the timelines of these devices can be as complicated as the devices’ portfolio itself. Yogesh has given an August/September tentative release on the OnePlus 10 Ultra in other replies to the same tweet. Also, the alleged OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to launch in the second half of this year.
