Nubia Alpha smartwatch and Ear Pods said to arrive in India by May

Nubia Alpha - Feature

Nubia, ZTE’s sub-brand is all said to launch its first smartwatch in India alongside the Redmagic 3. Dubbed as Nubia Alpha, it is the world’s first wearable phone. Yes, that is what the brand stated when they showcased it at MWC in Barcelona earlier this year. Let’s briefly talk about its features.

Nubia Alpha Smartwatch

Sporting a 4.01-inch flexible OLED display, it claims to offer 230% more screen area than any standard smartwatch in the market. That itself is a huge accomplishment. It will allow a panoramic aspect ratio, thus offering an immersive viewing experience.

Said to be easily able to wrap around your wrist, it is essentially a phone. If you’re concerned about the durability of this device. Then, you should know that the company teases that it has tested out the screen flex in the lab for more than 100,000 counts. The body is said to be made out of stainless steel and you will see it in two colours, black and gold (18K gold plated).

Expect it to be a costly affair as it seems to be a premium smartwatch. Plus, would you look at that flexible display. It is said to offer eSIM capability and some more interesting features that you can learn in our dedicated article for the smartwatch posted in February.

Nubia Ear Pods

There’s one more thing that you’d be seeing alongside these two Nubia products (RedMagic 3 and Nubia Alpha). It’s the company’s truly wireless earphones. These would be the brand’s first attempt, which is in partnership with 1MORE. Yes, there’s an only 1MORE company.

The Nubia Ear Pods is claimed to be a sleek comfortable experience as they’ll only weigh 6.2 grams. Expect a powerful audio experience, that’s what we have been told. There are no more details available about this upcoming truly wireless ear pods.
