Nokia brought a bag full of devices at MWC 2018 including the high-end Nokia 8 Sirocco. But we’re yet to see the Nokia 9 that has been rumoured for so long. However, a new leak has released extensive information regarding Nokia’s flagship phone of 2018.
The full-blown spec-sheet that has been provided by a Chinese publication suggests some very interesting things. The thing that catches the eye most is a triple rear camera setup of 41MP, following Huawei’s triple camera debut. The Zeiss optics sensors of 41MP + 20MP + 9.7MP will give a combined resolution of almost 70MP. Features like 4x optical zoom, OIS, have also been listed in the document. The front camera is shown to be a 21MP sensor with features like Bothies and Dual Sight.
If the info is correct, then the Nokia 9 will be a build of ceramic and 18-karat gold plated finish. In addition, the handset will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Also, the 3900mAh battery is expected to feature fast wireless charging as well as fast charging.
Much like all Nokia devices this year, this one will also run Android One on a 6.01-inch AMOLED screen. If we look at the 18:9 aspect ratio declared in the document, we can conclude that the handset won’t feature a notch.
For more info on supported bands and connectivity, take a glance at the leaked sheet. We’re not very sure of the authenticity of this report but given the triple camera report, we’re definitely intrigued and await more credible info regarding the handset.
