The Finnish manufacturer is all set to announce its next smartphone, which would be its first flagship-level smartphone since the company came back to business after a hiatous. Brought back to life by HMD Global, the Nokia 9 PureView could re-establish Nokia as powerful camera phone maker. Let’s take a look at the leaked information that has recently popped up on 91Mobiles.
Nokia 9 PureView: Soon be a reality
We know that Nokia has scheduled an event on February 24, where the company is expected to reveal its line-up for the year 2019. While we are excited to hear about Nokia 8.1 Plus and Nokia 6.2 at the MWC 2019 stage, it would be interesting to see the PureView branding make its appearance with Nokia 9.
Earlier, the CAD renders of this alleged Penta camera-enabled smartphone has been leaked online. But this time, the press renders are out and thus, you can expect Nokia to introduce a smartphone that could look like the ones you see in the pictures above and below.
The leaked Nokia 9 PureView press renders suggests an in-display fingerprint sensor would be offered. Plus, you can see the Android One brand, which means frequent software updates as is the case with other Nokia phones. You can clearly see five camera lenses, one LED flash, and one hole with unknown functionality.
Unfortunately, the company isn’t going to the bezel-less display look, as you can see thick bezels on top and bottom ends. Thus, it will not be directly competing with Samsung and Huawei, who are hell-bent on offering bezel-less display design with their respective designs. It’s actually good to see companies not always getting sucked into trends set by others.
