Nokia 9 PureView with penta camera setup could arrive in India by April-end; report

Nokia 9 PureView - Feature-2

If there is any camera smartphone apart from Huawei P30 Pro that I’m genuinely excited for is Nokia 9 PureView. I would just like to relive the good old PureView days. When the company’s OG PureView phone came out. According to NokiaPowerUser, the Finnish maker is going to release the prowess of its new flagship in India by April-end.

This week is quite busy, starting off with Realme 3 Pro launch today, tomorrow Infinix is going to unveil its cheapest triple rear camera phone. Further, on Wednesday, there are two Redmi phones said to arrive, Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 in India. It is quite an action-packed week. And if this Nokia 9 PureView release report turns out to be true, then, we could see some more activities soon.

If you recall, Nokia India officially teased about the phone on its social channels. And then there was no news for more than a month, up until now. HMD Global might just finish the month of April with a bang. Talking about the Nokia 9 PureView specifications below to give you an Idea what’s about to land in India.

Nokia 9 PureView Specs & Pricing in India

Sporting a 5.99-inch pOLED display with QHD+ resolution, it will offer HDR10 support and have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The company is not trying to lure customers by introducing any kind of notch/notchless design. Powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, it will be coupled with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

The Penta-camera setup includes two 12MP RGB sensors and three 12MP monochrome sensors. The selfie setup is supported by a 20MP resolution sensor. The battery capacity is believed to be at 3320mAh with fast charging support. It also supports wireless charging. The handset would be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

The Nokia 9 PureView price in India could be around Rs 45,000, to say the least. While that will also be aggressive pricing for the brand. But considering many brands this year will start offering the latest flagship chipsets, this Nokia phone here comes with last year’s flagship chipset.
