Nokia 8.2 to come with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera and Android Q

Ever since HMD Global acquired Nokia, the company has seen a revolutionary change. The brand has been making quite a name for itself in pretty much all the price segments. Its previous smartphone, the Nokia 8.1 was also very well received. Now, the company is said to be gearing for its successor, namely the Nokia 8.2. And the leaks for the same are already here.

Nokia 8.2 specifications

The Nokia 8.2 is said to follow all the design changes that you would expect from a device this year. As per reports, the device is said to feature a 32MP front camera. However, it won’t be present inside a notch of any kind. Instead, the Nokia 8.2 will feature a 32MP pop-up selfie camera. This would make it the first Nokia device to sport a pop-up shooter. Additionally, the device will also be one of the first devices to ship with Android Q out-of-the-box. All of Nokia’s handsets come under the Android One program, so we expect the Nokia 8.2 to be no different. As of now, there is no word on the processor that it will be rocking. However, leaks suggest that the device will be configurable up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Nokia 8.2 launch date

As of now, there is no concrete info as to when the device will be officially announced. Google is said to host the Android Q launch later this year in August. As such, we expect HMD Global to follow it up with the announcement of the Nokia 8.2. Stay tuned to Mr. Phone to get notified of all the updates in the smartphone world.
