Recently, word started going around about an alleged Nokia 7.1 Plus device and we saw a front panel of the same device leak yesterday. Well, today, we have full-blown HD renders of the Nokia 7.1 Plus. These renders leave nothing to the imagination, as far as the design is concerned and gives us the complete idea of the looks of the Nokia 7 Plus (Review) successor. Take a look at the image below.

Yesterday’s live image of a Nokia 7.1 Plus showed a display without a notch while an earlier front panel leak conflictingly showed a notch design making things a bit confusing. This render here settles it all. The Nokia 7.1 Plus has a notch and a much smaller one compared to the Nokia 6.1 Plus. You’re still not spared the agony of the bottom notch though as it comes with a Nokia branding. From all other angles, the Nokia 7.1 Plus has a very similar design to the Nokia 6.1 Plus. There’s the familiar dual camera setup at the back with the Zeiss branding and a seemingly glass back. There’s also the Android One logo which isn’t a surprise either.

As for the insides, talk around Chinese water coolers is that the Nokia 7.1 Plus (Nokia X7) will be the first Nokia device to get a Snapdragon 710 SoC based on the 10nm process. It could feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage and we could see a relatively large battery with 18W fast charge. The handset could also get Android 9.0 Pie right from first boot as it is under the Android One program and its launch date is still not in sight.
