Nokia 5.4 is the new offering from the handset maker launched in the European market. It comes as the mighty successor to the Nokia 5.3 smartphone, unveiled early this year. The new Nokia phone falls in the mid-range segment from the company and retails at €189 (Rs 16,900 approximately). The device features a punch-hole display, with quadruple cameras on the back and it comes in multiple edge colour variants.
Nokia 5.4 — Tech specs
The Nokia 5.4 features a 6.39-inches punch-hole display, the first in the Nokia 5 series lineup. It comes with HD+ resolution. The rear of the device comes in edge grading colour options. The colour options include — Polar Night and Dusk variants. It also features Nokia’s nordic design, as witnessed in the recently launched Nokia 2.4 smartphone, which further claims to be durable enough.
Underneath, the Nokia 2.4 equips Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC. It’s an octa-core processor with up to 2.0GHz clock speeds. For graphics, it comprises an Adreno 610 GPU. The Nokia 2.4 comes in 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of onboard storage on the storage front. It ships with stock Android 11 out of the box with three years of guaranteed security updates.
For optics, the Nokia 5.4 features quadruple cameras in a circular camera module. The 48MP acts as the primary sensor. Further, there’s a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, coupled with a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro sensor. The rear cameras here are capable of shooting at 60fps with a dedicated cinema camera mode. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie shooter embedded in the notch.
The Nokia 5.4 comes with a decent 4000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charge adapter, provided in the box. The battery here charges through USB Type-C
The other highlights of the device include a 3.5mm haedphone jack, Dual SIM, dedicated Google Assistant Button, rear mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication, NFC support and FM Radio.
The Nokia 5.4 is now available globally with the European market being the first. The Indian launch of the device is still unknown at this point. Stay tuned for more updates.
