Nokia 5.1 Plus: 4GB and 6GB RAM

The 5.1 Plus has been a key player for Nokia as far as its presence around Rs 10,000 in India. Previously the handset was available in only one RAM variant, 3GB + 32GB storage. Now today the brand has shared its plans to make the 4GB and 6GB models of the 5.1 Plus available in India, starting February 7. Note that this roll out would be to all the leading retail outlets in India.

Talking about the pricing, the 4GB RAM model will retail at Rs 14,499, whereas the 6GB RAM model will go for Rs 16,499. That’s not really competitive pricing when you compare it with its 3GB RAM model, which was launched at Rs 10,999. Further, it has been quite a time since the first model launched since then many handsets in the market have been launched under Rs 15,000 segment with comfortable specs and pricing.

Jogging up your memory of the Nokia 5.1 Plus, it packs an Helio P60 processor, which is the ultimate powerhouse for its claimed performance. This Octa-core claims high octane performance. And now with up to 6GB of RAM, it could add to the better load times and multitasking experience for starters.
