Nokia 5.1 Plus renders leaked in all glory, hints at notch, dual cameras and large display

Nokia X5

Last month, Nokia announced its upgraded line-up of smartphones including Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1. Now a leak sourced by Onleaks and delivered by TigerMobiles states that a new Nokia 5.1 variant might be heading our way. It might be called Nokia 5.1 Plus. This leak includes a 360-degree video, which shows how the upgraded Nokia phone will look.

Why Nokia 5.1 Plus?

When the Finnish manufacturer announced the 5.1, it introduced a wider full HD resolution display and a single lens 16MP rear camera. While the Nokia 5.1 Plus will bring the trending features like a dual rear camera and a large screen display. But unfortunately, details on the camera specifications are unknown. If previous collaborations are any indications, the upcoming Nokia phone might sport a dual rear camera setup in partnership with Carl Zeiss optics.

The most surprising addition would be the introduction of the notch on this Nokia phone. This could be the second HMD Global handset with a cut out on its display, after Nokia X6. But since, this Nokia line-up is made for a global audience, unlike Nokia X6, which is made available in China only. It will mark the first notch-enabled Nokia phone.

Apart from these mentioned modifications, there might not be many changes. You might still see the same Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, RAM, and storage. Though, we expect the introduction of a large capacity battery because of the large display.
