Motorola P30 press renders leaked ahead of August 15 launch in China

After unveiling its Moto Z3, the Motorola is all set to make its new P Series of handsets official in China on August 15. But unfortunately for the brand, the press renders of one of its new handsets is leaked online on Weibo. Furthermore, some of the specifications are also reported in this leak. The handset in question is the P30, which is first in the P30 Note and P30 Play handset series.

Moto P30: Design and Specs leaked

While one Moto handset has already been spotted with notch design, the One Power, this could be the first Motorola handset to release with display notch. From the appearance of the render images, it can be seen the edges are quite slim on the sides. With a small chin on the bottom and comparatively large display notch, it tries to attract for its glossy design.

If we were to compare, it indeed gives you a feel of the Apple iPhone X. The display notch, glossy back, and vertical dual-rear camera setup are hard not to reminisce with the iPhone X. The only part that is distinguishable is the fingerprint sensor on the rear with Moto branding.

As far as the Motorola P30 specifications are concerned, it could be powered by a mid-range SoC, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. The display screen is believed to be of a 6.2-inch size with 19:9 aspect ratio. Expect a 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage support.

The camera department could be aided by a 16MP + 5MP rear setup and 12MP front camera. All this could be powered by a 3000mAh capacity battery, which might come with a 18W fast charging support.

Talking about the Motorola P30 price, the 64GB model will reportedly retail for 1999 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 20,499. While the 128GB model might retail for 2399 Yuan, which is Rs 24,499 approximately.
