Here’s the First Look at the Upcoming Moto G82 5G, Tipped To Feature a pOLED 120Hz Display

Motorola came up with two Moto G series in the country last month, the Moto G22 and Moto G52. And in the US, the company has come up with Moto G 5G and Moto G Stylus 5G smartphones. Motorola seems to be having yet another Moto G series device in its existing portfolio, which doesn’t have a predecessor, according to tipster Evan Blass.

Moto G82 5G aka Rhode 5G+

In collaboration with 91mobiles, the tipster has come up with fresh renders of the Moto G82 5G smartphone. This seemingly falls under the likes of the Moto G52 smartphone, which launched recently, as they share quite a similar codename. Evan suggests the Moto G82 5G is codenamed Rhode 5G+, and the G52 came up with a Rhode 4G codename. The shared renders indicate a textured design on the rear and a triple camera array.

Powered by Snapdragon 695 5G

Unlike the Moto G52, the alleged Moto G82 5G is said to be a higher mid-range smartphone shipping with Android 12 next to a 120Hz pOLED punch-hole screen, the renders implicate. The same screen has been witnessed in the recent Moto G52. The Moto G82 will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display and a 402ppi pixel density. The tipster suggests it also has a 3.5mm headset jack, an IP52 rating, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that simultaneously acts as the power button.

He further tips that the device comes with Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, the same chipset that powered the recent Moto G Stylus 5G. The Moto G82 5G is further said to be shipping with three memory configurations: 4GB/6GB/8GB coupled with 128GB of onboard storage. And, users can expect a 5000mAh battery, which is a decent one next to 33W TurboCharge support.

The device will have a triple camera system for optics — a 50MP OIS camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the Moto G82 5G relies on a 16MP selfie shooter.
