Even after the continued situation of lockdown due to COVID-19, smartphone companies don’t seem to hold their launches for a long time. Motorola has also announced the launch of its new flagship smartphone lineup. The company has officially confirmed the launch taking place on April 22 at 9:30 PM IST. Looking at the previous leaks, we might get to see the Motorola Edge smartphone lineup.
Motorola Edge Series Coming
The teaser posted by the company Twitter hints toward a waterfall display for Motorola Edge. Both the smartphones are expected to come with 5G support. A few leaksters on Twitter had also posted some design renders for the Motorola Edge smartphones. Talking about the rumoured specifications, the Edge+ will run on Snapdragon 865 processor. On the other hand, the Edge variant will run on Snapdragon 765 processor.
The Motorola Edge+ is expected to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole cutout. The phone will be powered by a 5170mAh battery and will feature a 108MP camera setup. The Edge variant is expected to come with the same Full HD+ display. But it might feature a 48MP Camera setup instead of a 108MP unit. Both the phones will offer Android 10 out of the box.
After a long time, Motorola is entering into a flagship smartphone category. The company had recently launched the Moto Razr foldable smartphone as a step towards innovation. But now its time to see what the company has in store in terms of flagship offerings.
