
Back in December, Motorola launched Moto Edge X30 in China, which was the first device ever to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. And now the brand is reportedly gearing up for an imminent launch of its yet another Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone called the Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro. Tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) in collaboration with 91mobiles has shared some vital pieces of information about the Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro.
The latest report by 91mobiles in collaboration with the tipster Mukul Sharma reveals that the internal testing of the Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro has already begun in several Asian countries. While the device’s release date is yet to be revealed, it is expected to happen in a month or two. Moreover, the smartphone might arrive in India, but the tipster is uncertain of the Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro’s Indian moniker.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro (tentative name) Expected Specifications
The Moto Edge 30 Pro appeared on the Geekbench database website a little while ago, which revealed a bunch of its specifications and features. To begin with, Moto Edge 30 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. This will be paired with 12GB of RAM, as per the database listing. Furthermore, the device will come pre-installed with Android 12. The listing further suggests that the Edge 30 Pro scored 1172 points in the single-core test and 3302 points in the multi-core test.

In addition to this, earlier reports suggested that Motorola is expected to feature a triple-rear camera setup that could include either a 50MP or 108MP primary sensor. In terms of battery, the device is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 68W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. However, there is no confirmed information on the camera or battery details yet.
