Motorola Edge 30 is now official in the Indian market. The standard variant comes after the Edge 30 Pro model launched in February this year. It was one of the few devices launching with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Motorola Edge 30, on the other hand, is shipping with a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. The device pricing starts at Rs 27,999 and will be available through Flipkart in the country.

The Motorola Edge 30 comes in two models: the 6GB+ 128GB variant costs Rs 27,999 and the 8GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 29,999. The sale of the device starts on May 19th on Flipkart and other leading retail stores. There is an HDFC bank offer that makes the effective price of the device starting at Rs 25,999

The Motorola Edge 30 is built around a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED display featuring a punch hole setup. The display supports refresh rates of up to 144Hz and has a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display is enclosed in a lightweight design-build, and the device weighs around 155 grams and has a thickness of 6.79mm. On the back, the Edge 30 involves a matte finish.

The Motorola Edge 30 features a Snapdragon 778G+ processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The device relies on a quad rear camera system comprising a dual 50MP camera next to 16MP and 12MP sensors. One of the 50MP sensors is an ultra-wide lens and the other acts as a 50MP macro lens. The rear cameras further support HDR 10 video capture, including a billion different colour combinations. The front camera includes a 32MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Motorola Edge 30 ships with Android 12 out of the box, and the device draws power from a 4020mAh battery supporting Motorola’s 33W TurboPower functionality. For audio, the Edge 30 ships with Dolby Atmos and is powered by Snapdragon Sound. The device further has support for 13 5G bands, and for security, it comes with ThinkShield protection. Motorola further assures Android 13 and Android 14 upgrades in the near future.
