Looking to sync your Moto X with its newest release? The Android Nougat 7.1.1 update has been released by Motorola to its users in Brazil.

Back in 2015, the Moto X Play was launched in India at a meager price of Rs. 18,499 and it was an important milestone in the journey towards modular phones.

The Android 7.1.1 update was released by Google in December of 2016, and Motorola India confirmed that the Moto X Play would be updated to Android Nougat, although there were no timelines in place for that. Now with users from Brazil receiving Android Nougat, Indian users can expect their Moto X Play to soon be upgraded to the Android Nougat. Before updating, take a look at the enhancements Android Nougat is to bring to the table on your Moto X Play.

This update introduces changes including the following:

  • Android™ 7.1.1 Nougat – Many enhancements including new multitasking features, more efficient notification controls and improved data saver and battery features.
  • Video calling: Duo is a one-to-one video calling app for everyone – designed to be simple, reliable and fun so you never miss a moment.
  • Stability improvements: Includes changes that fix bugs and improve the stability of your phone.
