Motorola is introducing its next Moto G9 Power smartphone in the country next week. The company has recently announced its first Moto G 5G smartphone in India for Rs 20,999. Nevertheless, the new Moto G9 Power is confirmed to launch in the Indian market on December 8th, a listing from the company suggests.

Moto G9 Power — Launch

The Moto G9 Power has seen its launch in several global markets, including the European market. The company has put up a new  post on Twitter teasing the launch date image of the Moto G9 Power. It indicates the launch is on December 8th at Noon. The poster, also teases the phone and implies it would come with a bigger battery. It seems the launch of the next Moto G family phone is approaching next week after the recent launch of Moto G 5G in India.

Moto G9 Power — Expected Specs and Pricing

The Moto G9 Power launched in Europe equips a Snapdragon 662 SoC with CPU speeds up to 2GHz. The European Moto G9 Power listing already suggests the Indian variant should feature 64GB of internal storage alongside 4GB of RAM. The global variant also had 128GB of onboard storage variant. However, it is still unclear at this moment whether it debuts in India. There will be micro SD expansion also available on the G9 Power for up to 512GB.

The other expected specs include — a 6.8-inches HD+ punch hole IPS display, a massive 6000mAh battery with turbocharging support, 64MP triple cameras and a 16MP selfie shooter, a water repellent design, stock Android and lastly a dedicated Google Assistant button over and above.

The G9 Power launched in European markets for around Rs 17,400 approximately for the 128GB variant. So, we can expect slightly lower pricing around Rs 15,000 for the 64GB variant in India.
