Moto G9 Power is launched in the Indian market starting at Rs 11,999. The phone saw its launch last month in the European market. It has now forayed into India right after the recent Moto G 5G launch in the country. This new phone comes as a sibling to the Moto G9 smartphone launched earlier for Rs 11,499. Like the other Motorola phones, this one’s also sold as Flipkart exclusive in India.
Moto G9 Power — Design and Display
Moto G9 Power comes with a bigger 6.8-inches HD+ Max Vision display. It features a punch hole for the selfie camera on the top left corner of the screen. It stars an 87.2% screen to body ratio and features 264ppi. On the rear, the G9 comprises a plastic body finish that additionally comes with water repellent design. For authentication, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor incorporated in the Moto batwing dimple. There are two available colour options here — Metallic Sage and Electric Violet.
Moto G9 Power — Technical Specifications
Moto G9 Power has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset powering the device. It’s the same octa-core processor that features in the recently announced POCO M3 and in the forthcoming Redmi 9 Power. The chipset achieves clock speeds of up to 2.0GHz, and for graphics, it features Adreno 610 GPU.
On the software front, the device ships with Android 10 out of the box. In terms of hardware, the Moto G9 Power comes in 4GB of RAM and either 64GB/128GB of onboard storage. Additionally, there’s also microSD expansion for up to 512GB.

The G9 Power, as the name suggests, has a powerful/massive 6000mAh battery capacity that charges through USB Type-C. It further features Motorola’s 20W Turbo Power Charging support.
Moto G9 Power — Cameras
As for optics, the G9 Power arrives with triple rear cameras. There’s a 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, coupled with a 2MP f/2.4 macro and a 2MP f/2.4 depth-sensing camera. These cameras come with several modes, including HDR, shot optimisation, RAW photo output, Panorama, and Google Lens integration, to name a few. The cameras can further capture 1080p recording at 60/30fps.
The front camera, on the other hand, comprises a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. It comes with an auto smile feature, gesture selfie, group selfie and several different modes.
The other noticeable features of the G9 Power include Google Assistant, Peek Display, Gametime, LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, Smart PA speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
