Motorola hasn’t yet shared out its plans officially regarding the G7 lineup, but thanks to a press render leak we now know a lot about the alleged upcoming Moto lineup. Talking about the renders, the Moto G7 and G7 Plus would allegedly come with a water drop notch design. While the Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play would be sporting the traditional notch design. In the G7 series, Motorola could be first time introducing the water drop notch design.

Further, the camera department would see a dual rear camera setup on both the G7 and G7 Plus, whereas the G7 Power and G7 Play could come with a single rear camera. Thus, it has become clear, the G7 and G7 Plus would be its premium offering in the line-up, while the G7 Power and G7 Play would be for consumers looking to buy an affordable phone. Just like its existing G6 series.

As far as the fingerprint sensor is concerned, it could be mounted on the rear as per the leaked renders in the batwing logo of the Motorola. The company isn’t concerned about offering a bezel-less display design as you could see a big bottom chin with the logo of the brand.

This is not the first time that we are hearing about the G7 lineup. In the past, the G7 line up has been spotted on the US FCC. Unfortunately, there’s not much information out there about the specifications of the G7 line-up. But there are some speculations and one of which is quite interesting, which quotes the G7 packing wireless charging support. It would be the first time for a Moto G series phone to sport such a feature. Let’s hope it arrives.
