Moto G51 With Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC and 50MP Triple-Rear Cameras Launched in China

Motorola has launched the Moto G51 at China Mobile Global Partners Conference on November 2nd. This latest offering by the company is the successor to the Moto G50, which launched early this year. The Moto G51 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus chipset. The budget handset also equips a triple rear camera setup and packs a larger 5000mAh battery underneath. The global and other regions’ availability of Moto G51 is still uncertain at this point.

As per reports, the Moto G51 is priced in China at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 17,500) for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It will be available in two standard color options: Blue and Grey.

The Moto G51 sports a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The device has a hole punch at the center of the display that houses the selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 480 Plus processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone offers 3GB of Virtual RAM support and boots Android 11 out of the box with MY UI 2.0 interface on top.

The Moto G51 features a triple-rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 13MP snapper at the front for selfies.

The device provides a larger 5000mAh battery, but there are no fast-charging capabilities. There is a rear fingerprint scanner placed on the back of the device for authentication. The connectivity features of the Moto G51 include a dual-SIM card slot, 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
