Motorola is all set to introduce a new member in its ever-popular Moto G line as the company is planning to launch the Moto G31 in India on November 29. The handset which is the direct successor of the Moto G30 was recently unveiled in Europeand comes as yet another affordable offering from Motorola. The key specifications of the Moto G31 include a 6.4” OLED display, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, and a 50MP triple-rear-camera setup. Along with the Moto G31, the company is also expected to launch the Moto G200, Moto G71, and Moto G51 in the coming months.
Moto G31 Key Specifications
According to Flipkart’s landing page, The Moto G31 features a 6.4” FHD+ OLED display with up to 700 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the device is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, and comes in two variants — 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. You can further expand the storage via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Moto G31 comes with triple-rear lenses featuring a 50MP primary sensor along with a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor that also doubles up as a depth camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery but unlike the global version, Motorola has replaced the 10W charger with the 20W Turbo Charger for the Indian market.
On the software side of things, The Moto G31 runs Android 11 out of the box which is protected by ThinkShield Security for mobile. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C charging. Other key notable features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Moto G31 Expected Price in India
As of writing this article, Motorola hasn’t revealed anything regarding the official pricing details of the Moto G31 in India. However, previous leaks have suggested that the 4GB + 64GB storage variant could be priced at Rs. 14,999 (MOP), while the selling price will be Rs 13,499.
