Moto E7 is the new budget entrant in its smartphone lineup from Motorola. After multiple leaks and renders, the company had now made it official in the European market. The new Moto E7 comes as a toned version of Moto E7 Plus launched a couple of months ago. In comparison with the latter, the E7 shares multiple elements, including display and camera. So, let us delve into the details.

Moto E7 — Design and Specs

The latest E7 comes with a 6.5-inches Max Vision HD+ LCD display as its bruv (Moto E7 Plus). It has an aspect ratio of 20:09 and achieves a screen to body ratio of 87%. The display is enclosed in a plastic body build, which is said to be featuring a water repellent design, according to Motorola.

A MediaTek Helio G25 chipset powers the device. It is an octa-core processor with clock speeds of up to 2.0GHz. For graphics, the device comes with 650MHz IMG GE8320 GPU. In terms of storage, it features in 2GB of RAM paired with either 32GB or 64GB of built-in storage. It has a microSD expansion option available for up to 512GB. The device ships with vanilla Android 10 out of the box.

Moto E7 — Cameras and Battery

The E7 sports dual-camera system on the back enclosed in a square module, which is similar to what we have seen from Motorola phones in recent times. The 48MP f/1.7 lens acts as a primary sensor coupled with a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. On the front, there is a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. The rear cameras software include a bunch of modes like Night Vision, Portrait and HDR mode, for instance. For video, both front and rear cameras support Full HD recording at 30 fps.

A decent 4000mAh battery capacity powers the new Moto smartphone, which supports 10W charging from Motorola.

The other highlights of the device include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor under the batwing Moto dimple, which also supports Motorola’s swipe gestures. For connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Hybrid Dual SIM, a 3.5mm headset jack, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfers.

Moto E7 — Pricing

The Moto E7 comes at €119 (Rs 10,500 approx.) for the base variant. The larger variant pricing and region availability apart from Europe is yet to be known.
