Molekule Air Mini — Key features
Molekule Air Mini air purifier is said to be ideal for rooms of up to 23 square meters. This could include apartments, bedrooms, and home offices. The purifier, on the inside, has five different adjustable fan speeds to suit your needs. Molekule says the energy consumption of this latest air purifier ranges between 18W to 53W with noise levels varying from 36-62dBA. The purifier further comprises filters — Molekule’s Pre-Filter combined with PECO-filter in a single filter.
The PECO technology, on the other hand, is said to be a patented technology developed by an NRI named — Dr Yogi Goswami, who is also the co-founder and chief scientist of Molekule. The firm’s PECO technology further claims to be whisper quiet, ozone-free and uses oxidation to kill the airborne pollutants. These include bacteria, viruses, mold, chemicals, and particulate matter as well.
The PECO-filter further is said to be coated in proprietary catalysts, which are activated by UV-A light. This process releases hydroxyl radicals that are claimed to break the molecular bonds of the aforementioned airborne pollutants. And, eventually purify the air in the room.
