Despite the app being unstable and still in development, Microsoft Edge for Android is now publicly available on Play Store. Users are still advised to go ahead and download it.
Last week Microsoft had released Edge on iOS and Android for Windows insider users. Edge on iOS and Android is mainly for those users who use Edge on the desktop and prefer to sync their history, passwords, bookmarks etc. The iOS version of the app exceeded Apple’s 10000 user limit for TestFlight apps and is currently not available to anyone.
Edge is similar to Safari and Chrome underneath on mobile on the surface features a familiar design for Edge users as well as features like QR-code reader, Hub View, Reading View, voice search and more.
