Micromax has launched its new smartphone in India, it is called Micromax iOne. The new handset from the brand is priced at Rs 4,999. It will retail in the country in 1 colours variants including Black. The handset will be made out of Plastic. It is said to sport an 9mm thickness and Weight at 120 grams.


Talking about the display of the Micromax iOne, it is a 5.45-inches display with a resolution of 540 x 1132 pixels. This means the pixel density of the screen is at 230 ppi. It is an IPS panel, which comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio of the device is at 76.79%. The company teases that its display has a Capacitive and Multi-touch.


As far as the camera department is concerned, it packs a single rear camera setup. Where the primary rear camera is of 5.0MP. It comes with a Touch-to-focus Autofocus technology. The rear camera is supported by a LED flash. For selfies, you can make a use of the 5.0MP front camera.

Hardware and Software

The Micromax iOne is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset, which comes with 8 Cores and clocks at 1.6 GHz. It is accompanied by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity. It will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie. Note that the external storage is expandable. It does not comes with a fingerprint sensor. As far as the battery life is concerned, its 2200mAh battery juice claims a day’s life.
