Mi TV4C listing spotted on Mi.com, could be priced at Rs 27,999 when it launches

Xiaomi has now set its sights on the lucrative electronic TV market in India after success in the smartphone segment. Earlier last week, Xiaomi hinted that a new Mi TV 4A is coming with an affordable price tag. Now, more specs of a new Mi TV 4C have surfaced due to a listing on the MI website. Prior to this, the Mi TV 4A had already been listed on the company’s official website.

It sports other similarities as well. For example, it has the same quad-core 1.5GHz Amlogic L962 chip inside that is assisted by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The 43-inch panel boasts Full-HD resolution with a blue light reducing mode. It does also support HDR10 and HLG as well.

In terms of connectivity, Xioami has packed the TV with Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby, and DTS Audio. Like other models, Xiaomi has built-in a PatchWall platform software for content recommendation.

The Mi TV 4C should be priced Rs 27,999, as per the listing. This is a significant premium over the Chinese price tag which is RMB 1,849 (~Rs. 19,000).
Xiaomi entered the TV segment with the launch of the Mi TV 4 with a 55-inch display and a Rs 39,999 price tag. It also has 4K HDR support and has a very thin bezel-less design as well as 4.9mm thickness. The Mi TV 4C is expected to launch soon in the coming weeks.
