Yes, you read it right. Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi Mix 2S at the MWC 2018. The phone is a successor to the Mi Mix 2, launched in September 2017. The device will run on the Snapdragon 845 processor. It will be the first smartphone in the world to have the latest Qualcomm SoC. This SoC will enable the device to have amazing AI capabilities.
A Chinese blog has claimed that the Mi Mix 2S will launch with an upgraded camera. The phone has been speculated to have the Sony IMX363 camera sensor which will deliver the improvised night image results. The phone is likely to feature an iPhone X-like notch while retaining the popular Mi Mix-like bezel-less design.
The price of the phone is rumoured to be CNY 4,000 (Rs 40,000 approx). The Mi Mix 2S will be available for buying from March. The device will be showcased at the MWC 2018 first.

It would not be easy for Xiaomi to make the Mi Mix 2S the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 845 processor on it. Samsung is also gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S9 duo with the same processor. Sony is also ready to launch the Xperia XZ Pro with the same processor at the MWC 2018.
