Today is the 5th of October and the long-running cycle of the Huawei Mate 20 leaks has hit another level. Press renders of the Huawei Mate 20 leaked today and they’re pretty much what we’ve been expecting. Previous leaks have also suggested that the standard Mate 20 would come with a design overhaul and these renders come from WinFuture editor Roland Quandt who has a good reputation in the leaks segment.
The press renders are not something we’ve never seen before but due to the HD quality, we now see more details emerge. Look at the top and bottom bezels of the device. They’re probably the slimmest we’ve seen on a Mate flagship. The rear has a quadruple camera system and there’s a fingerprint reader beneath it. This means we’re not looking at an on-screen fingerprint reader on the standard Mate series. Also, the Mate 20 Pro will feature a wider notch compared to the Mate 20 and it is likely to have the on-screen biometric sensor.

If you’re wondering how this stacks up with the latest iPhone XS Max, well, Ben Geskin made a render putting it on the side of one. Even though we don’t have dimensions (of the Mate 20) just yet it seems that the handset is a hair longer than the XS Max.
The latest leaks have also brought the final missing piece of the puzzle – pricing. As it emerged from distributors today, the Mate 20 was listed with a price of Fr. 799 (Swiss Francs). This converts to $805 roughly. The Mate 20 Pro was seen listed at Fr. 999, which means roughly $1010. If you’re wondering about the vital components of the flagship, we’ve covered its TENAA listing that we link above.
