We saw the release of Gionee M7 Power yesterday on November 15 in India and just after a few hours of the launch event, another phone in the M7 series has been leaked online! We are talking about the Gionee M7 Plus which leaked on benchmark listings a few hours ago. The device was rumored to support a better wireless charging than Apple, and we are not yet sure about it. However, the non-metallic back seen in the earlier leak of the M7 Plus shows some signs of it supporting this premium feature. The M7 Plus is expected to support the 1.2 version of the Qi wireless charging standard.
The listings clearly show that the display of the Gionee M7 Plus will be bigger than the other phones in M7 series. The phone will have a 6.43″ display and the MediaTek processor will be replaced by the Snapdragon 660! This is a great news indeed and if we are to believe these listings (which we do), the phone will perform better than its counterparts in the M7 series.
The resolution of the display will be 2160×1080 pixels and the aspect ratio will be 18:9, thanks to the bigger screen and its resolution. The Gionee M7 Plus will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is expected to have 6 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage. Not bad, Gionee!
The rear camera of the phone will have a 16 MP sensor which can support a 4K video and the selfie shooter will have an 8 MP sensor for cute selfies! The M7 Plus will also have a fingerprint scanner on its back, beneath the camera and we’re now waiting for its price to come out!
The phone is also rumored to launch in late November, most probably on the 26th of this month in a special event.
However, this information about its launch is not backed up by any reliable source so we’ll advise you to take with a grain of salt.
