The most recent leaked renders of a real Mi Mix 2s have changed our previous conceptions of the device drastically. Earlier, the handset was thought to come with a unique design that featured a miniature notch on the top left corner of the display. As much as we’d like to see that in the flesh, it appears more and more uncertain.
A new set of leaked images have been found by deep divers of rumourville. These images concur to another one leaked last week in design. The new set of images give us a good look not only at the front display but also at the rear of the device. Looking at the front display, it seems more or less like the Mi Mix 2 with some trimming on the bottom bezels. Right now, we’re not entirely sure whether Xiaomi will shave off extras off the bottom but it does look likely. Moreover, the selfie shooter is hidden somewhere on that bottom bezel. If the previous leak is an evidence, it should be in the centre. However, it isn’t visible here.
As for the rear, the Mi Mix 2s clearly sports an iPhone X-replica camera setup. Also, the fingerprint reader is visible, which discredits past talks of an in-display sensor.
As for confirmed specs, the Mi Mix 2s will rock a Snapdragon 845 CPU and also have wireless charging this time around. Some industry insiders also say that Xiaomi might reveal a wireless charging pad at the Mi Mix 2s launch event. If you’ve been living under a rock, the Mi Mix 2s launches on March 27 at an event in Shanghai.
