LG X4 with Snapdragon 425 SoC, LG Pay launched in South Korea

Global Electronics conglomerate, LG has launched the latest LG X4 smartphone in South Korea. The handset is an addition to the X family and has similar features as the LG X4+ launched earlier. Understandably, it also has similar features as the X4+. It is priced KRW 297,000 (roughly Rs. 17,800) and has Black and Gold colour variants.

The LG X4 sports a 5.3-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280p resolution. At the heart of the device is a Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. A relatively low 16GB of storage can be expanded via a Micro SD card. The entry-level handset sports 3000mAh battery that powers Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

As for the camera, the LG X4 has a pretty barebones 8MP rear sensor and a 5MP selfie shooter. It also has the standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and FM Radio.

The handset also shares some of its features with LG X4+ which include LG Pay. Shinhan Card, Lotte Card, and Hana Card are currently supported by the service. It also has some smart fingerprint shortcuts like tapping to take a selfie or screenshot. It also has HD DMB support for mobile TV experience.
