The LG V40 ThinQ is dropping on October 3 and the phone has already seen a plethora of leaks. The company posted a design video of the phone yesterday on Youtube and we have got to say, it looks impressive. The video has shown a horizontal triple camera setup on the back and a dual camera setup for selfies and video calling. The various images used in the video hailed to the awesomeness of five and hence, we have five cameras on the LG V40 ThinQ.
Along with this, we see a reference to the “soft touch” of the phone. This means that the display of the phone could be super smooth. LG has confirmed a 6.4-inch size as well. However, we do not know its aspect ratio or resolution as of now. The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to arrive in three colour options as shown in the video – Red, Blue and Grey. We also see a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone and so, the in-display sensor seems out of the question. We can also see a shiny metallic rear panel on the phone and it does look amazing.
This is all we know for certain as of now. The price and availability of the smartphone are still under covers but we do know that it’ll launch in New York first and then in South Korea. A recent leak suggested the triple camera setup to contain 20MP+ 16MP + 13MP sensors. The selfie cameras on the phone will come handy for Face Unlock and clicking Bokeh Mode shots.
We do not see the front panel of the phone in the video. However, rumours are ripe that it will contain a notch just like the one on LG G7 ThinQ. The LG V40 ThinQ is also expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM. Additionally, the phone could also have a Google Assistant button and Quad DAC audio technology which is the property of LG. The LG V40 ThinQ is also supposed to come with Android 9.0 Pie.
