After the launch of the LG G6 in the Mobile World Congress, the company also released the V30, V30+ at IFA Berlin 2017. Today LG has launched the most awaited V30+ in India and it will go on sale from December 18 at a price of Rs.44,990. At such a price it is now in league with the top smartphones of this year like Google Pixel 2, OnePlus 5T, and Samsung Galaxy S8 and a few others.
One major highlight of the smartphone is that it has a 6-inch 18:9 full HD display with Dolby vision, support for HDR10, 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC for amazing quality audio experience, and a dual camera setup at the back. It also has a fingerprint scanner, facial unlock feature, it is dust resistant, and has IP68 certification for water. For those of you wondering about the certification, it means that the phone is certified that it is water resistant. But I hope you don’t go and purposely submerge your mobile phone somewhere.
The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC processor and has a 4 GB RAM with 128 GB internal memory. The device has the expandable memory as an option via microSD card.

Well, the V30+ supports a dual camera setup as mentioned earlier, it has a 16 MP lens with aperture f/1.6, and a 13 MP standard lens with aperture f/1.9. The camera is claimed to click wide-angle good quality pictures. Along with this, it has a Hybrid Auto Focus which allows fast focusing, an Electronic Image Stabilization, and Optical Image Stabilization. The Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) allows you to record sharp and blur-free videos. You can also make adjustments with the auto white balance, shutter speed, and exposure. The device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and we do expect that Android 8.0 Oreo will be rolled out soon within a couple of weeks.
It is supported by a battery of 3,300 mAh capacity and has Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G with VoLTE as connectivity options.
