LG G7 to be powered by the Snapdragon 835, expected to launch at MWC 2018

The LG G7 has been listed on the official page of LG which states that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 835. This conclusion was derived because the webpage stated “Future LG G7” supports Quick Charge 4.0 and that gave us the reason to conclude that it will feature Snapdragon 835. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm is the second-generation 10nm chipset which supports Quick Charge 4.0 and Quick Charge 4+ as well.

It was November 2016 when Qualcomm had announced the Snapdragon 835 chipset which only supported Quick Charge 4.0. 

The early stock of the Snapdragon 835 had already been acquired by Samsung for its Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ devices. If the speculations regarding LG G7 having the Snapdragon 835 is true then it shall be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2018 along with the Galaxy S9/S9+

According to a publication in South Korea, the LG G7 will make a debut in March and get released in the market by April.
