LG G6 starts receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Beta update in China

LG G6 Android 8.0 Oreo beta update

LG G6 has started receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Beta update in China and it is a good news for its users. The news surfaced when a Chinese user uploaded some images of his updated LG G6. The pictures show Chinese as the default language of the phone but we can easily trace the OS to Android 8.0 Oreo.

Some features in the screenshots like Picture-in-Picture, adaptive icons, the newly designed App Shortcuts which are exclusive to Oreo and many more, give us a confirmation of the beta update. It is a good time for LG to do so since Xiaomi and Nokia are taking the Oreo updates very seriously.
