Kult Impulse with 5.99-inch HD+ display, 4000mAh battery launched

Domestic smartphone maker Kult has launched Kult Impulse in India. The roughly three-year-old manufacturer’s latest offering has in-trend features like an 18:9 aspect ratio and Face Unlock on its resume. The Kult Impulse costs RS 8,999 and can be bought in Black and Blue.

Speaking of the essentials first, the handset has a 5.99-inch HD+ TruView display protected by 2.5D glass. The processor sourced from MediaTek is the quad-core MTK6739 SoC that ticks at 1.5GHz. The Kult Impulse has no RAM or storage options as it has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

Both the front and rear of the Kult Impulse have the same 13MP lens with f/2.0 aperture. The rear does have autofocus and dual LED flash. On the software side of things, Kult has loaded the handset with an unimpressive Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Well, at least the battery is a sizable chunky 4,000mAh juice pack if that is any comfort.

The entry-level phone does also rock dual SIM capability alongside 4G VoLTE support.

The Kult Impulse goes on sale starting May 15 with some introductory offers. Reliance Jio users can avail a cashback of Rs 2,200 on certain specific plans. As said earlier, the handset is priced Rs 8,999.
