iQOO is reportedly gearing up to launch a new premium smartphone in its Neo range. It was earlier rumored that the company would launch an iQOO Neo series device with the model number V2154A. This device is expected to launch in China as the iQOO Neo 6 in the first quarter of 2022. There is no word on the official launch date or the naming scheme. Yet details of the device have leaked online. The iQOO Neo 6 has been spotted on the Google Play Console ahead of the official launch.
iQOO Neo 6 Leaked Specifications
The latest report by MySmartPrice reveals that iQOO Neo 6 has been spotted on the Google Play Console website with the model number V2154A. The listing reveals that the device will feature an FHD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The chipset is clocked at 2.8GHz and paired with an Adreno 660 GPU clocked at 840MHz. The device listed on Google Play Console packs 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The upcoming smartphone by iQOO will run on Android 11. The device will likely have a layer of Origin OS 1.0 on top of the Android OS. But, for international markets, iQOO would ship the device with Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
As per the previous details leaked, the iQOO Neo 6 supports 66W fast charging. This was spotted via a 3C listing. More details on the phone should surface online in the coming days.
The listing also showed the render of the iQOO Neo 6, which showcases centrally aligned hole-punch cutout and curved edges. The volume rocker and power button can be seen on the right spine. However, details about the optics are unknown at the moment.
