iQOO 7, iQOO 7 Legend Become the Best Selling 5G Smartphones in August: Report

The iQOO 7 and the iQOO 7 Legend were the top-selling 5G offerings for the month of August in India, as per a report by Counterpoint Research. To recall, the iQOO 7 was initially launched on April 26th, earlier this year along with the iQOO 7 Legend in India. The launch price of the iQOO 7 was set at Rs. 31,990 for the base 8GB + 256GB storage variant, while the iQOO 7 Legend started at a price of Rs. 39,990 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage option. 

According to Counterpoint Research, the iQOO 7 and the iQOO 7 Legend were the best selling 5G smartphones for the month of August in India. Do note that this was in the INR 30-40K price segment. iQOO 7, iQOO 7 Legend Specifications: 

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, the iQOO 7 features a 6.62” Full-HD+ display that refreshes at 120Hz and features a touch sampling rate of 300Hz. There’s a 4,400mAh battery under the hood that supports 66W Flash Charge via the supplied power brick in the box. You can get the iQOO 7 in two variants — 8GB + 128GB storage and 12GB + 256GB storage. At the rear, you can find a triple-camera setup, featuring a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary camera with f/1.79 aperture and OIS. You also get a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera along with a 2MP monochrome sensor. At the front, there’s a 16MP camera for selfies. Colour options include Solid Ice Blue and Storm Black. 

On the other hand, the iQOO 7 Legend is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset but features the same display specs and variants as the iQOO 7. Even the rear camera setup remains the same apart from the 2MP macro sensor found on the iQOO 7; which is swapped with a 13MP portrait sensor with an f/2.46 aperture. In terms of endurance, there’s a 4,000mAh dual-cell battery under the hood that supports 66W Flash Charge via the supplied power brick in the box.
