Infinix X1 series smart Android TVs with MediaTek processors launched in India, starting at Rs 11,999

After the successful Infinix Zero 8i launch, the company introduces two new Smart Android TVs, under Infinix X1 series in the country. Infinix has teased these TVs prior to the Zero 8i launch, and their launch was implied alongside the phone.

However, the company has chosen to announce later, and now they are available for sale in the country starting at Rs 11,999. The company includes two Smart Android TVs — a 32-inches TV model and a 43-inches TV. While both share comparable internals and design elements, there are minor differences apart from the screen size.

Infinix X1 series Android TVs — 32-inches & 43-inches

On the design front, both TVs come with identical design elements featuring narrow bezels. The company calls it ‘Frameless Design’. It tends to provide a higher screen to body ratio measuring 32-inches and 43-inches, respectively.

The larger 43-inches model comes with Full HD resolution whereas the 32-inches features in HD resolution. However, both these come with Infinix’s EPIC 2.0 Picture Engine, which utilises algorithms to enhance the picture quality by improving brightness, colour, contrast and clarity, the company suggests.

The TV duo supports 178-degree viewing angles and as well as HDR 10 support with 400nit brightness. They additionally come with blue light reduction technology and TUV Rheinland technology, which acts eye-care technology that further reduces blue light emission to go easy on users’ eyes.

Infinix X1 series Android TVs — Under the hood

The latest smart Android TVs run on MediaTek’s 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. They come with built-in audio featuring a 24W box speaker on the large 43-inches TV and a 20W one for the 32-inches model. The speakers here come with Dolby Atmos support.

The 43-inches model equips three HDMI ports, two USB ports, a Bluetooth remote, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi on the connectivity front. Meanwhile, the 32-inches TV features two HDMI ports, one USB, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi and an IR remote.

As both the TVs are certified Android TVs, they feature built-in Google Chromecast to connect to OTT platforms. They include as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, to name a few. And, for personalised, hands-free experience Infinix X1 series also implements Google Assistant support.

The Infinix X1 series smart Android TVs will go for sale on Flipkart starting from December 18th. The larger 43-inches model retails at Rs 19,999, and the 32-inches comes at Rs 11,999.
